Glasspaper is a group consisting of Glasspaper AS, Glasspaper People AS, Glasspaper Learning AS and Lederrekruttering AS. Glasspaper Learning has been awarded a Microsoft Core Partner for five consecutive years, and has experienced a strong expansion in recent years through business development. They are now the largest IT course provider in Norway. Their customer base includes both large and small businesses across most industries.
What is the result?
“We feel very comfortable that we have chosen a system that suits us for growth. The models are very flexible and it costs less the more devices you put on, it’s very nice.
Before, we conducted accounts per company without seeing the totals. Now we get a reconciled consolidated financial statement that is updated all the time and it’s fantastic, especially for me who is the leader of the entire company.
We save a lot of time, especially with our hired outers when they register their hours. Before we had an Excel sheet that we sent to the customer for signature, which would then be sent back to us, someone else made the billing database based on the Excel sheets, now everything is automatic.
Having control of the hours we will invoice and the job of billing is very simple. It became very time-saving for our part. I think Xledger is very brilliant on mobile, especially when traveling, you can only take a picture of the receipt and lay the foundation clearly.”
What was the challenge?
Timesheets were very difficult for us. Before Xledger we recorded hours of our outsourced workers with spreadsheets and the like. so it took a very long time and the chances of making mistakes became bigger and it required a lot of manpower to make sure it was correct. Everything was manual. When you have ten leases this is fine, but we grew every single month and then needed a good system. Xledger timesheets is a real pleasure.
What was the solution?
We had Mamut as an accounting system and Visma on travel and expenses before, now Xledger has replaced both and we have much better control now than we have ever had before, it’s so clear. Now I can go to check wherever I am in the world, we could not do that before with a client-based version.
We tested a few different systems eg. Tripletex and found out that, although it’s good, became a bit too simple here. The group piece was decisive, it could not deliver Tripletex.
