Xledger is delighted to be working with The Church of England Diocese of Leicester to deliver its cloud based ERP finance management platform.
Diocese of Leicester is the third in a growing community of Church of England dioceses to choose Xledger following in the footsteps of Diocese of Birmingham and Diocese of Edmundsbury and Ipswich. The Leicester diocese is made up of:
- 324 churches including the Cathedral
- 237 Parishes, joined to form 123 Benefices
- 143 full-time clergy
- 49 self supporting clergy
- 144 Readers
- 17,700 people attend churches regularly
- 97 Church of England schools
Xledger will be used widely within the Diocesan Board of Finance and also the Diocesan Board of Education. This will further allow the Diocese to benefit from efficiencies with regards to system provision across the two functions.
The Diocese of Leicester will be replacing an on-premise finance management system in use for the past decade. Their finance team needed a modern finance system, one that would better support their wider team. Key to this was a strong move in the paperless direction with regards to common functions like Purchase Ordering and Employee Expenses processes.
